Despite the way the Michael Jackson trial is portrayed in the media, there are other parties involved aside from Jackson, his legal team and DA Tom Sneddon.
There is of course the alleged victim and his family.
Reports indicate that they have significant troubles of their own, outside of the Jackson trial.
I understand that the court hearing of a request by the estranged father of Michael Jackson's accuser to visit his leukemia suffering son, and his two other children, was put off on Thursday.
The father claims he is concerned about the health of his son, and about allegations that he was molested by Michael Jackson.
The boy's father wishes the restraining order to be lifted. He has put forward the argument that, despite pleading no contest to child cruelty and abusing his wife, he has now completed the various forms of counseling and courses deemed appropriate.
No new date has been set for a hearing.
The world is not all candy and roses.
