Judge Rejects Mistrial Motion

Judge Rodney Melville rejected calls for a mistrial and acquittal, without explanation, from Michael Jackson's lawyers.

    americans are a hypacritical bunch. what's the use of the medias "do you think the micheal jackson trial was fair" polls? didn't he just get aquitted of all charges? it seems to me the only thing the polls are going to do is keep the public inflamed and that's only to keep selling newspapers and stories to run on the news. i thought that the way he was aquitted was the American way, but after a year here and following some T.V. trials and it sure doesn''t look to an outsider looking in that the sysem or te prople care about fairness, only when it suits them. this country is run by the media it's kinda strange to sit back and watch the hype machine work in this country. but don't get me wrong i love it here. just thinking out loud.
