It is reported that Michael Jackson has two weeks two to fend off a $270M foreclosure, or face losing Neverland and his Sony Beatles music catalogue.
His "friends" say that he faces ruin because he listened to the wrong people.
Evidently Jackson took out two loans, one for $200M and the other $70M, which were secured on Neverland and the Beatles catalog.
It seems that he defaulted on the $70M loan in April, then worked out a payment plan with Fortress Investments. However, Jackson defaulted again in October and foreclosure will happen on December 20th.
Jackson has also reportedly failed to make payments on a $2.2M second mortgage he took out on his parents' mansion, which is also now facing foreclosure.
Given his financial predicament, it is hardly surprising that he is planning to re-release his old hits at the rate of one a week.

Jackson's Plan Drug Intervention
Michael Jackson's family is reportedly so alarmed at stories about his drug abuse, that they are planning to trip to Bahrain to stage a drug intervention.
A source is quoted as saying:
"The family is in a state of emergency. They consider it a life-or-death situation."
Adding:
"Grace basically said she can't handle him alone. The family is in a tailspin."
Jackson is denying that he has a drug problem, and called the source's story a "total lie."

Jackson Invited To Pakistan
Following Michael Jackson's alleged conversion to Islam last month Pakistan's ruling party, the Pakistan Muslim League (PML), has invited him to visit Pakistan.
The PML congratulated Jackson for becoming a member of the "Nation of Islam"> The PML leader, Kanwar Kutubuddin, said that his conversion was a good omen for the Muslim Ummah.
He noted that Jackson's conversion was a positive development, especially since it came at a time when Muslims were being criticised by different elements on an international level.

Rowe Denies Insemination Claims
There has been a further twist to the ongoing bizarre tales being spun about the goings in the life of Michael Jackson.
Debbie Rowe now denies that she spoke to any Irish newspaper about the story that Jackson was not the natural father of their children, Prince Michael and Paris.
It is alleged that Rowe claimed that the children were both conceived using anonymous semen bought from a sperm bank.
She allegedly told the Sunday World:
"Michael knows the truth - that he is not the natural father of Prince Michael Jr and Paris. He has to come clean.
I have no information whatsoever about the identity of the semen donor for either child as such (semen) was obtained anonymously from a semen bank under an agreement of confidentiality."
Rowe denies the story, and says that she was in the US with a cold at the time of the interview.
Don't they have phones in the US?
Her lawyer, Iris Finsilver, has added that Rowe would never say anything to risk her visitation rights.
Fair comment, except that if it were proved that Jackson was not the father then presumably Rowe would get custody?

Michael Jackson Investigated for Drug Trafficking
It has been reported that police are investigating allegations that Michael Jackson has been trafficking prescription drugs, and that during a police raid that they have found traces of cocaine on his clothes.
Police are investigating allegations that Jackson smuggled prescription drugs from America to Bahrain, in order to maintain a 40 pill a day habit.
Former aides are alleging that Jackson is addicted to painkillers and anti-depressants, seemingly the drugs of choice of those in showbusiness.
Papers released by Santa Maria court note that Jackson's former security guard, Chris Carter, has claimed that Jackson is addicted to Xanax, an anti-anxiety drug.

Jewish Lawyer To Defend Jackson
In response to potential legal action for alleged anti semitism, Michael Jackson's Jewish lawyer Brian Oxman has stated that he will defend him.
The case centres on remarks allegedly left by Jackson two years ago, on the voice mail of his former adviser Dieter Wiesner. The message says:
"They suck them like leeches. They start out the most popular person in the world, make a lot of money, big house, cars and everything, and end up penniless. It's a conspiracy. The Jews do it on purpose."
Abraham H. Foxman, the national director of the Anti-Defamation League, said:
"Michael Jackson has an anti-Semitic streak and hasn't learned from his past mistakes. It seems every time he has a problem in his life, he blames it on Jews."
The League have demanded an apology from Jackson.

"I have been with the Jackson family for 15 years, and I'm Jewish. I have never once seen anything anti-Semitic from him or from his family."

Defamation
The Anti-Defamation League has asked that Michael Jackson apologise for allegedly calling Jews "leeches" during a "private" telephone call, which was recorded two years ago.
The supposedly "private" call was aired on ABC's "Good Morning America", and is allegedly a voice message left by Jackson for his former adviser, Dieter Wiesner.
The message allegedly accused Jews of leaving performers penniless.
A transcript of the message reads:
"They suck them like leeches ... I'm so tired of it. I'm so tired of it.

Another Lawsuit
Dieter Wiesner, a former adviser to Michael Jackson, has filed a $64M action against Jackson for alleged breach of contract and fraud.
Wiesner claims that he paid Jackson millions of dollars for rights to merchandise his name and likeness, that were not Jackson's to sell.
Wiesner alleges that Jackson had sold the rights to another buyer prior to Wiesner, who then sued Wiesner.
That suit was settled, and Wiesner lent Jackson more money. The total alleged cost to Wiesner was $9M, to secure the rights and pay the settlement.
Having secured the rights, it seems that Wiesner made little money out of them; as, according to Weisner, Jackson refused to cooperate and interfered with merchandising efforts.
Wiesner then claims that Jackson fired several advisers and asked Wiesner to become his personal manager around 2002.

Jackson's New Home
It is reported that Michael Jackson has paid $1.5M for a new mansion on his own private island.
The quarter-acre site is located on the Amwaj Islands, off the coast of Bahrain.
The island, which is part of three man-made islands built in the last five years, has; its own international airport, several top restaurants, a private hospital, golf courses, canals and an equestrian centre.
Jackson will move in to his new home in January 2006.
