In what seems to be a creditable display of finally grasping reality, with respect to his financial situation, Michael Jackson is reportedly looking for work in Bahrain.
It seems that he is negotiating a position as a consultant with a Bahrain company, AAJ Holdings Ltd, that plans to set up theme parks and music academies in the Middle East.
AAJ Holdings Ltd is owned by Bahraini businessman Ahmed Abu Bakr Janahi, and has told the press that it wants to hire Jackson to give advice on setting up entertainment businesses.
AAJ, which focuses mainly on urban development projects, played a major role in designing Bahrain's ongoing Financial Harbour development and Oman's Blue City, a multibillion-dollar tourist resort with golf courses, hotels and beaches.
AAJ have stated:
"Stagnant architectural structures need content in the form of entertainment to revive them and that's where Michael Jackson will play an integral role."
Jackson is reportedly building a home in Bahrain.

Animal Cruelty Allegations
Michael Jackson has been accused of animal cruelty at Neverland.
PETA, People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals the animal rights activists, have demanded a probe into the conditions at Neverland.
PETA claim that giraffes, elephants and other creatures are imprisoned in squalid and cramped surroundings. They also make claims, allegedly backed by photos, that the poor animals have to live in their own faeces.
Lisa Wathne, of PETA, said:
"These photos make it clear that the animals are being held in what can only be described as cruel conditions.
They are abysmal and little more than holding cells. My message to Michael Jackson would be to close this place down and relocate the animals to an accredited zoo or sanctuary."
PETA has written to the U.S. Department of Agriculture asking it to launch an investigation into conditions.
As if to add to the animals' alleged woes, employees at Neverland claim that the feed supply is fast running out.
One of the remaining Neverland staff is quoted as saying:
"Most of the staff have gone. Hundreds of people used to work here - now there are only ten or so.
The electricity is only on in some parts of the house. Some rooms have been stripped of everything. Neverland is falling apart."
Jackson is also being sued by Martin Dinnes, owner of Dinnes Memorial Veterinary Hospital, for £51K in unpaid bills.
Brian Oxman, Jackson's lawyer, stated:
"Michael Jackson does not wish to comment on this story."

New Sex Abuse Allegations
In what seems to be a daily ritual, Michael Jackson is now facing yet another legal action.
This time he is facing new child sex abuse allegations in a civil lawsuit.
A 20 year old has filed a claim that Jackson molested him as a child, made him have cosmetic surgery and stole his ideas, melodies and lyrics for songs.
The complainant was interviewed at length before Jackson's trial for sex abuse in Santa Barbara. However, no charges relating to his allegations were made.
Allegedly this is because it was thought that the claims would not stand up in court.
Michael Mattern, the man's lawyer, said:
"It is alleged that my client was present at Michael Jackson's residences and other places from the age of two to 14 and was molested many times over the course of those years.
There is also an allegation that my client came up with song ideas, lyrics and melodies which were used by Mr Jackson in his records and made an awful lot of money."
Mattern added:
"I have got photos of my client with these red lips just like you see on Mr Jackson and a big old cleft on his chin which he didn't have previously."
The case will be heard at Orange County Superior Court on February 14th, St Valentine's Day.

Martin Dinnes, owner of Dinnes Memorial Veterinary Hospital, alleges that Jackson owes nearly $100K in unpaid bills.
Dinnes helped Jackson build up his collection of flamingoes, giraffes, elephants and orangutans.
I pity the poor animals.

Debt Default Negotiations
Lawyers for Michael Jackson and Fortress Investment Group, Jackson's creditor, are in talks to keep Jackson from defaulting on $200M of loans secured on his 50% holding in the Beatles' song catalogue (worth $500M).
Jackson technically defaulted on the loans yesterday.
Brent Ayscough, a lawyer for Jackson, said that representatives for both parties were working to renegotiate terms of the loans; to give Jackson more time to avoid default.

Debbie Rowe, Michael Jackson's former wife and mother of Prince Michael and Paris, has filed suit in California accusing Jackson of abducting their two children to Bahrain.

A secret hearing in the ongoing custody battle took place near Palm Springs on Monday.
During the hearing, Rowe asked the judge to order Jackson to return the children to the United States.
Rowe claims that Jackson took the children to Bahrain to stop her obtaining custody.
A ruling is awaited.

No Food For The Animals
It is reported that Michael Jackson is so broke that his animals are on the brink of starvation.
Jackson allegedly hasn't sent enough money from Bahrain to feed the animals in his menagerie at his Neverland.
Electricity has also been partially cut off at Neverland.
Today Jackson is set to be officially declared in default of a £152M loan.

On The Edge of Ruin
Michael Jackson faces losing Neverland and his share of the Beatles song catalogue this week, unless he pays some of the money that he owes Fortress Investments.
Fortress Investments are reportedly going to move against Jackson's assets tomorrow, unless he comes up with repayments to cover a loan worth £152M that it acquired from Bank of America last May after he failed to make a $350K repayment the previous month.

The Shop
The Jackson family are apparently touring cable networks, touting a proposed pilot for a reality series in which Michael Jackson's siblings take feature roles.
Cory Rooney is producing the upcoming MTV series called "The Shop".
The show would feature the sons of Tito Jackson, who succeeded overseas as the members of boy band 3T during the 1990s but are trying to make a comeback as adults.
In the show they receive help from their father, as well as other aunts and uncles.

Brando's Plans For Jackson
Marlon Brando was a great friend and fan of Michael Jackson, so much so that he wanted to make a two-part TV special which would have highlighted each other's careers.
Jackson was apparently so thrilled with the prospect that he allegedly called and left his former aide, Marc Schaffel, a voice message at 4:41 in the morning which stated that the project was to start as soon as possible.
The message allegedly said:
"Marlon Brando is pushing, and he's a wonderful man. He's a god. We have to get this done. He wants to get it done before Christmas ... He just wants to make it a big deal. He wants a lot of money, and we would own it together . . . He really wants it, I mean I think that he feels he won't be living too much longer,"
Allegedly, part-one of the show was to be set in Neverland, with Brando chatting up Jackson about his music.
Brando's private Polynesian island was supposed to be the scene for the second part, with Jackson questioning Brando.
The project however never materialised as Brando died on July 1, 2004.

Jackson Threatens Legal Action
Michael Jackson has countered claims that he is overindulging in drink and drugs, by warning the people who are spreading these rumours that they should be prepared for legal battles.
Raymone Bain, Jackson's publicist, has responded angrily to allegations that Jackson had been on whisky and painkiller binge.
She is quoted as saying:
"He is doing fine and I have never seen him happier or healthier. Whoever these individuals are who are intent on disseminating false information should begin hiring good attorneys."
