Turning Point

Judge Melville's ruling yesterday, allowing allegations of past sexual molestation to be admitted to the Jackson trial is a turning point in the case.

Up until now the defence have been winning the argument. Now, the prosecution will turn the case into a judgment about Jackson's lifestyle and character.

The ruling has already identified that there are five allegations about past behaviour. One of these relates to Macaulay Culkin.

Culkin's publicist, Michelle Bega, said on Monday that he "is presently not involved with the proceedings and we do not expect that to change."

It is likely that the case will now get rough and dirty.
