The Old Curiosity Shop

It seems that Michael Jackson and his lawyers have got their collective "knickers in a twist", over the plans of Henry Vaccaro (an entrepreneur) to sell various items of Michael Jackson memorabilia.

Henry Vaccaro obtained these items; costumes, letters, legal documents etc via a bankruptcy case involving Jackson's parents and his brothers, Tito and Jermaine.

Vaccaro then offered the items for display on a pay to view website, michaeljacksoncircus.com. It is understood that he has found a buyer in Europe for these knicknacks.

Jackson has filed a legal action trying to prevent the sale of these items by Vaccaro, and a judge has ruled that the sale cannot take place until the outcome of Jackson's law suit is decided.

Additionally, Jackson's lawyers are trying to get Vaccaro's website shut down.

In addition to Michael Jackson seeking to reclaim these items, the prosecution in his forthcoming trial in Santa Barbara are also rumoured to be interested in the stuff.

The lesson to be learnt here, for all aspiring celebrities, is not to leave your personal knicknacks in the hands of your family for safekeeping.

You never know what the future may have in store!
